In addition to the regional category, this year introduces two new categories on performance (for buildings in existence at least 5 years) and innovation (for newly built or conceptual buildings). The October awards ceremony will take in Chicago. |
May 1 - Deadline Unrestricted Access An international competition focused on transforming abandoned, closed (or scheduled for closure) and decommissioned military sites worldwide. Besides the $5,000 worth of prizes, it is a chance to erase engines of war. UPDATE: The winners will be showcased at this year's Venice Biennale in Italy! |
